Concepts with Joie and LocalShops1 are partnering up for a free workshop for small businesses.


Learn where to best allocate your marketing and advertising budget. How do you know if it should be the newspaper, magazine, direct mail, coupon book, fliers, TV, radio, or social media? What works for one business isn't necessarily what will work for another!

Our experts will helps you figure this out, with realistic suggestions that will fit in your busy schedule and with limited advertising budgets! The workshop is open to small businesses in all industries, and admission is free but seating is limited. Arrive at 5:30 for introductions and networking. The workshop begins promptly at 6 pm.

RICK PARSONS, owner of Ricky P's Orleans Bistro. Rick has extensive background in advertising & marketing. He was General Sales Manager at local radio stations; Executive VP Sales, DuPont Registry; Sales Trainer, GTE Directory.

NANCY HOWE, owner of KnowHowe and publisher of the Tampa Bay Wire. Nancy began her publishing career at the St. Petersburg Times; then Managing Editor of Art & Design News; then 23 years at Maddux Business Report.

JON TALLON, Marketing Manager, Florida Print Solutions. Jon helps businesses with attention-getting logos and graphic design, to printed promotional products & mailing, and marketing services. He brings his many years in the industry to this workshop.
