Penny Hoarder Media Company Moves into Times Building

The Penny Hoarder, a personal finance website with millions of followers worldwide, has moved into its new office in downtown St. Petersburg, in the Tampa Bay Times building at 490 First Ave. S.


The company was founded in 2010 by Kyle Taylor, growing from his personal blog about making and saving money while trying to pay off massive student loans. 


"The Penny Hoarder has pioneered a new kind of personal finance media with stories about real people and actionable money tips that make a true difference in our readers’ budgets," he writes on the website. "Our goal is to improve the lives of everyday folks by helping them spend less time worrying about their finances and more time enjoying their lives,"
