Visit the Industrial Arts Center during Gulfport Art Walks to blow your own glass masterpiece! You can make an ornament, paperweight or drinking vessel ... with your own colors and blown with your own breath! Every first Friday and third Saturday, 6-10 p.m.

Classes offered include Glass Blowing, Lampwork/Bead Making, Glass Fusing, Found Metal Sculpture, Woodworking, Metal Clay and more. Most of the equipment has been purchased and installed, including a large state of the art furnace for glass blowing.

Master glass blower Jackie Ballard leads the team of artists as they share their creative knowledge and ignite the interest of inquisitive students.

Great addition to Gulfport!

Very fun!! Blowing glass is a lot tougher than it looks, though.
