ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- LocalShops1 is thrilled to announce that longtime Tampa Bay resident and local business advocate Billie Jo Grassinger-Bell has been appointed Mid & North Pinellas Director for LocalShops1.
Billie Jo, 42, will be working with other business and community-minded
organizations and local businesses to help grow the Buy Local movement
in Dunedin, Safety Harbor, Tarpon Springs, Pinellas Park, Largo,
Seminole and surrounding towns.
"My goal is to further increase
awareness of the importance of shopping local with small businesses,"
says Billie Jo. "I live and love local!"
entrepreneurial life began at age 3, when she made her first $100 by
selling bottle caps for a quarter each. These days she runs her own
company, Tampa Bay Natural Health, and is the marketing director for her
husband's company, Bell Contracting and Design.
"Billie Jo's experience as an independent businesswoman and her ongoing commitment to small businesses made her
the ideal choice to represent LocalShops1 as North Pinellas Director,"
says Ester Venouziou, LocalShops1 founder.
Billie Jo's new position is effective immediately. We're very excited to have her on board LocalShops1!
