ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Great news for small businesses! The
St.Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce and LocalShops1.com announced
they are working together to help drive more traffic to small businesses

The efforts bring together two of the region's leading organizations:
The St. Pete Chamber, one of the most established chamber of commerces
in the Southeast; and LocalShops1.com, Tampa Bay's most active advocate
for local, independent businesses.
"We're excited to partner with these innovators," says Chris Steinocher,

opportunity to be connected with our community. Besides, any notion for
supporting local, count us in!"
The first phase of the partnership includes a new co-branded edition of
the 1Card, LocalShops1's discount shopping card, valid at close to 300
local, independent businesses. The new 1Card will be co-branded with the
St. Pete Chamber's logo and be distributed free to visitors at the
Chamber downtown offices, 100 Second Ave. N.
