The new year is always a good time to start fresh, and that includes a good look at your company's branding and marketing.
Ebony Grimsley, founder and president of Above Promotions in Tampa, is making it easier with her 12 Days of Marketing. Every day, for two weeks, she offers a new tip.

Tip No. 1: Image is Everything

These can be as simple as a cross-promotion (for example, spend $10 here, get a 25 percent coupon at your partner business) or link exchange on your websites. But remember: It's important to be selective on who you partner with; their reputation can reflect on you.
