St. Petersburg, Fla. -- Ester Venouziou, founder of LocalShops1.com, was recognized as a finalist for Community Servicewoman of the Year, presented by the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce March 26, 2010.
"I'm honored and humbled to be among such an amazing group of women," Venouziou said. "The group represented here is simply inspiring, and these are the people who are making Tampa Bay such an awesome place."
Robin Warren, a
cofounder of Project Prosper, was the winner in the Community Servicewoman category. Project Prosper's goal is to promote economic and social
integration for immigrants in Pinellas County.

Smith, Beth Houghton, Barbara McCarthy, Susan McCarthy, Sandy Oestreich,
Judith Owen, Loris Rosso, Debbie Sembler, Gina Thiemann, Karen Truman and Mary Wheeler.
The Chamber also announced Businesswoman of the Year Darby Dickerson,
vice president and dean of the Stetson University College of Law.
