Drawing More People to Your Website
By now you've heard "content is king" a gazillion times, and you know one of the best ways to improve SEO and attract people to your website is by adding informative articles, opinion pieces and other blogs related to your industry. And you know that you need to add content on a regular basis, with many experts advising you do it daily, or at the very least, weekly. Coming up with topics to write about, day in and day out, can be tough. But there is a free website that can help. Go to HubSpot's Blog Topic Generator and enter one to three nouns, and it will come up with a week's worth of blog headlines for you. Of course, then it's up to you to actually start writing!
Practically Free Cross-Promotions
Want to bring people to your website or Facebook page? We're always looking to partner with our awesome members and other local businesses for our contests and other promotions. You provide contest prize (valued at $75 or higher) and we'll custom-design a contest to reach your target customers! This includes design of fliers and promotions through our social media pages and enewsletter, reaching more than 40,000 local residents. The bigger the prize, the bigger the promotion, of course. If you'd prefer to offer a smaller prize, we can use it in our Local Prize Stash for our ongoing promotions (and of course tag you as the prize contributor!). Let's chat: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Which Mobile Payment System is Best?
The answer, of course, depends on many variables. But Digital Trend makes it easier to decide by giving you detailed breakdowns of costs, service and more for seven major credit card readers -- Intuit, Square, PayAnywhere, PayPal, Amazon Local Register, SecureNet Payments and Flint.

How to Name Your Company
Your company name is one of your main marketing tools, so you want to get it right. This infographic published by Inc magazine offers great tips (optimal length is 5-10 letters, for example) and helps avoid common pitfalls (such as using your city in the name, because that limits your market). It also includes sobering statistics: The biggest professional firms can take six months -- and charge up to $80,000! -- to develop a name.

"Life is all about change. If it were static, think about how boring it would be. You can't be afraid of it, and you can't worry that you'll mess things up. You deserve good things." -- Ellen Hopkins, author
