The Ronald McDonald House of Tampa Bay's annual Bingo Fundraiser takes place Sept. 24 and there are opportunities for local businesses to help raise funds and also promote their businesses at the same time.
The Ronald McDonald House provides a home-away-from-home to families whose children have extended stays in hospitals. Since opening in 1980 as the first Ronald McDonald House in the state of Florida, the St Petersburg center has helped 46,000 families.
Here is how you can participate:
Donate Silent Auction Items! Highlight your business by donating an item or service valued at $20-$70 to be auctioned off at during the event. Your business will be included in fliers and marketing materials.
Provide coupons with marketing materials that will be given to all participants. In return you will reach 120+ participants that live locally.
Come as an attendee and have fun! The event takes place 6-9 pm Wednesday, Sept. 24, at All Children's Hospital Education & Conference Center in St. Petersburg. Admission is $15/person. Food provided by Tradewinds.
This event typically raises about $6,000, primarily from the silent auction. The money is used to provide food to the families while their child is receiving medical treatment.
