LocalShops1 is excited to be back again for Local Motive, USF's signature Buy Local event! We'll be set up in our booth -- yes, LocalShops1 Girl will be there! -- with plenty of literature of why local matters, plus 1Cards and LocalShops1 member guides.
LocalShops1 members and other local businesses are encouraged to sign up for their own space -- it's FREE!
Can't make it? No worries! LocalShops1 members (business, artist & non-profit levels) may give us promotional swag and coupons to give out at our booth! Please drop your materials to us during one of our events, or mail them to:

About Local Motive
Local Motive, now in its fourth year, gives local businesses a free opportunity to showcase and sell their products or services to the University of South Florida's 50,000 students, faculty and staff members!
The event takes place 11 am to 2 pm Wednesday, April 10. Its goal is to highlight the importance of supporting local businesses and encourage students and staff to put their money where their home is.
Local Motive is held in conjunction with the weekly Bull Market event hosted every Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the USF MLK Plaza, where vendors and student organizations set up tables and sell items or hand out information.
How to Register
Go to the USF Bull Market webpage, and click on the Local Motive participants photo. Fill out completed form, and you'll get a confirmation receipt via email. Reservations must be submitted before 1 pm April 2.
Day of Local Motive
Local Motive takes place 11a.m to 2 p.m., but Bull Market runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m, so you may arrive as early as 8 and no later than 10.
please contact and speak with the staff.
Each vendor will receive a free parking pass that allows them access to the USF Crescent Hill Parking Garage for the day only. A Local Motive volunteer will be at the garage entrance to provide you with your pass. Materials may be unloaded at the northeast corner of Marshall Student Center, but you must remain with your car while volunteers help you unload. Vendors are provided one 6-foot. table and up to two chairs. You may bring your own free-standing tent, if you'd like.
