Community Food Pantry Meets the Top Local Chef

TAMPA, FL --  LocalShops1 and Intensity Academy announced the Community Food Pantry today as the official nonprofit partner for the third annual Top Local Chef competition. The cooking competition will take place in front of a live audience of 150 people on April 28, 2013, at the Ale and the Witch courtyard in downtown St. Petersburg.  A portion of event proceeds and drink sales from the Ale and the Witch will be donated to the food pantry.  There will also be a raffle and can drive at the event.

The Community Food Pantry serves more than 300 families every month.  Families receive essential grocery items that include cereal, pasta, vegetables, fruit, soup, meat and bread. Businesses interested in sponsoring Top Local Chef 2013 should contact LocalShops1 at  Restaurants wishing to compete may submit applications through Jan. 31.
