ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- LocalShops1 and Intensity Academy announced today set a deadline of January 31 for contestants to complete their application for the third annual Top Local Chef. The cooking competition will take place in front of a live audience of 150 people on April 28, 2013 at the Ale and the Witch courtyard in downtown St. Petersburg.
"With it’s growing popularity, we are having to become even more selective in picking this year’s contestants,” said Mo Venouziou, V.P. of LocalShops1. Six professional chefs will make dishes featuring Intensity Academy’s Garlic Goodness hot sauce for 4 celebrity judges and samples for 150 attendees.
At stake? Fame, fortune and the coveted GIANT FORK.

A portion of event proceeds will go to the Community Food Pantry in Tampa, FL.
