Sir Winston YachtCome aboard the luxury yacht Sir Winston for an exclusive culinary sailing experience that is sure to be the talk of the town!


Top Local Chef is Tampa Bay's tastiest competition, connecting the area's foodies with the best restaurateurs and private chefs in the region.  Guests will have the opportunity to stop by the chefs' stations and sample their specially created dishes, all featuring this year's not-so-secret ingredient: Kahwa Coffee!

The event, emceed by WTSP 10 News award-winning journalist Noah Pransky, is a production of LocalShops1. Ray Lampe, better known as Dr. BBQ, is serving as head judge. Also on the Judges Panel: St Pete Deputy Mayor Kanika Tomalin, Family Foodie founder ;Isabel Laesig, USFSP professor Janet Keeler, and The Mill Restaurant's owner, Ted Dorsey.

The event also includes a Student Chef Smackdown sponsored by Out of the Weeds and Three Birds Tavern.


It all takes place 5-7:30 pm Sunday, April 30, aboard Sir Winston in St. Petersburg. Boarding begins at 5 pm and the ship departs sharply at 5:30 pm, weather-permitting, and returns at 7 pm, where we'll have another half hour of food, drinks and fun! The event takes place rain or shine. In case of inclement weather, the event goes on, but the ship will stay docked.


Early-bird pricing is in effect through March 31. Don't miss the boat! Advance registration is required.

Boat departs sharply at 5:30 pm, weather-permitting. Event takes place rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, boat will stay dockside, but event goes on!  Fees are non-refundable.
