Earth Day is celebrated by more than a billion people in hundreds of countries around the globe. By celebrating Earth Day we join with others and share our common reverence and respect for this beautiful but fragile planet. The event includes special exhibits, earth-friendly vendors, food and more. 


Special exhibits at St. Pete Earth Day include:

  • The Urban Bird Experience
  • No Green Without Blue Ocean Enclave
  • Go Outside and Play!
  • Earth Friendly Shopping
  • Earth Arts and Craft Village
  • Mother Earth's  Book Nook
  • Earth Friendly Transportation Hub
  • The Urban Garden
  • Rally For A Better Tomorrow
  • Feeding Frenzy Food Court

This free event is organized by Chart 411, a local nonprofit based in St. Petersburg. With the help of volunteers and environmental groups we hope to present a true community event with a focus on green businesses, environmental activists, and family focused activities that foster a deep appreciation for the planet we call home.  Event sponsors include the City of St. Petersburg, USFSP College of Education, LocalShops1, Creative Loafing and Sunshine City Associates.
