The statewide Florida Main Street Conference is coming to St. Petersburg and this year's theme is "Arts & Culture on Main Street," a perfect fit for our thriving, creative city.
The event is open to the public and everyone interested in downtown revitalization and historic preservation is encouraged to attend. Opportunities are also available for those wishing to volunteer, display their business or help sponsor the event. This is an excellent opportunity to reach a statewide audience including Florida Main Street managers and their boards, architects, students, city planners, business leaders and more!
Speakers include St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Kriseman, "For the Love of Cities" author Peter Kageyama, St. Petersburg Arts Alliance's John Colins and more.
The event is hosted by the city's three Main Street designations: The Edge, Grand Central and Deuces Live. Sponsors include the City of St. Petersburg, the Museum of Fine Arts and the St. Petersburg Museum of History.
LocalShops1 is proud to also be an event sponsor and will present "Living Local on Main Street" during the Mornings on Main Street breakfast Aug. 19 at the Vinoy.
