About the Workshop
Entrepreneurs are often overwhelmed by the logistics of setting up accounting systems while also trying to develop products, hire people, run their business.  But good accounting practices can make all the difference when operating a successful small business.

In her presentation, Kim Kenney, who owned the full service CPA firm Certified Financial & Tax, will review basic paperwork entrepreneurs should keep and file with their accountants, including items such as invoices for business expenses,  payroll records and sales documents. Kenney will also talk about affordable accounting software that is available for small-business owners.

The session will be followed by half an hour of Q&A. If you have any questions you'd like to submit in advance, please email us at

The workshop, part of the LocalShops1 Business Bootcamp Series, includes coffee and light breakfast.
