Heads-up, artists and designers! The St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce is in the process of rebranding, and part of the process is through a "visual identity competition" with a $10,000 cash prize for the winning design.
“We think this is the ‘St. Pete’ way to do this," said Chamber President & CEO Chris Steinocher. "We have such striking and diverse talent here, and such joyful creators, we want to give everybody a crack at this major endeavor.”
The competition is open to individuals/agencies that work or live within St. Petersburg, or are active chamber members in good standing. The entries will be judged by the chamber marketing committee and other chamber leaders.
Submissions are due by 5 pm Oct 3, 2016. Check out details here, and plan to attend one of the information sessions at the chamber (5-5:30 pm August 10 or 12:30 to 1 pm August 15). For more information email Morgan Brochetti at email@example.com.
The new brand will be unveiled at the Chamber Annual Meeting in January and the winning designer and top finalists will be recognized in front of 1,000+ business/community leaders.
