FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ST. PETERSBURG, FL, Oct. 6, 2014 — Three Birds Tavern is excited to present Out of the Weeds, a new line of artisan dressings and sauces made fresh in the Tampa Bay region.
Three Birds has been making salad dressings in house for more than four years, and now diners are able to enjoy these same dressings in their own homes. Out of the Weeds selections include Roasted Tomato Vinaigrette, Roasted Beet Vinaigrette and Carrot Ginger. More products are in the works.
*It has been one of my goals since the very start in 2009 to expand into this side of the food scene,” says Robin King, who owns Three Birds Tavern and Out of the Weeds with her husband, Jack King. “We are finally ‘out of the weeds’ sufficiently to bring you these products.”
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a portion of sales proceeds of the Roasted Beet Vinaigrette in October will go to the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research. The cause is very personal for Robin King, whose mom lost her battle with breast cancer in 2004. The fund was started by Robin’s college friends Stefanie and Chris Spielman. Stefanie lost her 10-year battle with breast cancer five years ago.
Out of the Weeds dressings feature all fresh and natural ingredients including beets, ripe plum tomatoes, carrots, balsamic vinegar, ginger, orange juice, soybean oil, thyme, tarragon and natural spices. They are perfect not only for salads, but also for grilling and enhancing meats and vegetables.
The dressings are offered at $8 each or $20 for the three-pack at Three Birds Tavern, 1492 Fourth St. N. in St. Petersburg. They will be online a OutOfTheWeeds.com shortly. Orders may also be placed directly with Robin email@example.com
A product launch party is planned for Thursday, Oct. 23, at Three Birds Tavern, 1492 Fourth St. N. in St. Petersburg. Party details will be announced next week.
