St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Kriseman has appointed a seven-person team to help select the designer for a new or renovated pier.
The committee will rank the top three designs based on the city's criteria and public response, the Tampa Bay Times writes. Designs for the $46 million project are expected to feature amenities including observation areas, places to eat, fishing, and walking paths.
