A born Buckeye from rural Ohio, Kate played College Basketball for WSCU and received degrees in both Fine Arts and English Literature. Kate then attended Le Cordon Bleu in Pittsburgh for her culinary arts degree before being recruited into resort-work.
After a few stints in upscale country clubs and resorts in North Carolina, California and Colorado, Kate joined the Meze team in March 2012. Kate's areas of focus include Pan-Asian Cuisine, Vegetarian and Vegan Cuisine and Classical French Cuisine. She has taken the time to master the use of many exotic spices unique to North Africa, India, Thailand, Mexico, and the Middle East.
Most importantly, she is thrilled to be competing on behalf of MEZE.
