Our Keynote Speaker

Isabel Laessig, better known as Family Foodie, is on a mission to bring families back to the dinner table. Her Sunday Supper Movement has millions of online followers that believe that, too.

Several years ago, when the oldest of her four children was leaving for college, Isabel asked what she would miss most about home. “Mom, it’s the time we spend in the kitchen and around our family table.” It was her daughter’s reply that inspired Isabel to start her blog and create the Sunday Supper Movement.

Since 2012, Isabel has been using social media to spread the word of her mission by working with a community of bloggers through #SundaySupper. From those humble beginnings, the movement now reaches more than 5 million weekly followers on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram. As a result of the success of #SundaySupper, followers clamored for a weekday movement. #WeekdaySupper was born in January 2013 as a way to share recipes that inspire busy families daily.

The highlight of Isabel's year is the annual Food and Wine Conference in Orlando. This three-day event brings together brands, bloggers, small business owners, winemakers, chefs, traditional media, emerging media and cookbook authors to share expertise and build connections.
