Meet Melane Nelson, owner of Growing Up in St. Petersburg. The shop offers great products for parents and babies, including the largest, local selection of cloth diapers and accessories; organic clothing; toys and more.

"After having our first child, we quickly became more conscious about the environment we live in and what products we were using with our child," Melane writes on her website. "We began making small steps and over five years have incorporated eco-friendly products in every facet of our lives.

"Upon learning we were pregnant with our second child, it became even more important to start those eco-friendly practices from the beginning. Unfortunately, in the Tampa Bay Area there were no local resources for learning about these products, so we spent a great deal of time online researching different products and the pros and cons of each. ... It became evident that we needed to share this and thus Growing Up was born."
