"We are committed to offering the highest
quality while adhering to our clients budgets and opening deadlines. Our
success comes from our commitment to maintaining outstanding client
relationships. We personally oversee every job from beginning to end;
and we do all the work - drywall, carpentry, painting, and fixture
installation. By providing this level of workmanship, we are able to
meet the retail industries demands for performance every step of the
way. We are proud of our work and value our reputation.
Tell us a secret! Me
and my best friend Charlie Lanham would skip school and take the city
bus down to the shuffleboard courts and stay downtown until it was time
to come home from school.
Your story: I
started as a carpenter at Coquina Key Arms Apartment on my knees,
running basebard. I did this for 3 or 4 years and then I got a chance
to learn metal stud framing at Sea Towers on Madeira Beach and learned
what piece working is all about.
Eventually I learned drywall finishing,
and construction management. I got my first local license in the early
'80s and gradually became a state certified General Building Contractor.
I have lived in the St. Pete area since I was 11 and have seen all of
the changes (good and bad) and have built, worked on and remodeled many
of the buildings and homes that you see today.
Favorite part of the business: The satisfaction I see on my customers' faces when I complete their job.
Biggest struggle: In the early years, trying to raise a family and pay my employees.
What do you love most? "I love Billie Jo!" (That's his wife! He wins major points.)
