The Rotary Club of St. Petersburg Sunset is an evening Rotary Club geared for the young and “young at heart.” Club members meet for drinks and dinner around sunset (6–7:30 PM) to listen to engaging speakers, plan service opportunities, and enjoy each other’s company. The group also offers weekend socials, fundraising events and parties, and service opportunities
The club, chartered in September 2010, works with many local charities including Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics, Edible Peace Patch and Surfers for Autism. For membership information go to stpetesunsetrotary.org/membership.
Shopapalooza Festival 2014
The biggest shopping event is back for a fifth year, with 100+ locally owned businesses and 5,000+ shoppers!! The 2014 festival also features a beer garden, an artists village, a ton of entertainment and lots more! Admission is free and open to the public!
When: 10 am to 7 pm Saturday, Nov. 22
Where: South Straub Park, downtown St. Pete!
Why: To kick off the holiday shopping season by showcasing the local businesses, artists and nonprofits that make Tampa Bay such an awesome place!
