Great Explorations Children’s Museum, next to historic Sunken Gardens in St. Petersburg, is one of Florida’s top museums and one of America’s top museums for children. At Great Explorations, fun educational experiences make learning fun for visitors of all ages. Co-founded in 1986 by the Junior League of St. Petersburg and Hands-On! Inc., Great Explorations opened November of the following year and moved to its current location in 2003.

Shopapalooza Festival 2014
The biggest shopping event is back for a fifth year, with 100+ locally owned businesses and 5,000+ shoppers!! The 2014 festival also features a beer garden, an artists village, a ton of entertainment and lots more! Admission is free and open to the public!
