ST. PETERSBURG, Fla --- (Your Business Name here) is happy to announce it is participating in LocalShops1’s Shopapalooza Festival 2013. The event takes place 10 am to 4 pm Saturday, Nov. 23, at South Straub Park in downtown St. Petersburg. Admission is free and this family-friendly event is open to the public.

The annual event, known as Tampa Bay’s Local Alternative to Black Friday, features swag, sales and prizes from more than 100 independently owned businesses and artists in the Tampa Bay region. The event also features live entertainment, free bouncy house for kids and more. Also represented at Shopapalooza are some of the area’s top arts institutions, including the Dali Museum, Mahaffey Theater, American Stage Theater and the Morean Art Center.
This year Shopapalooza also features the first-ever Palooza Passport, sponsored by Chart 411, in which shoppers will have a free opportunity to win thousands of dollars in prizes. And back for another year is the popular Spicy Lick-a-Thon, sponsored by Intensity Academy Gourmet Sauces.
"Shopapalooza is a way to celebrate and spotlight the great independent businesses that make Tampa Bay such an amazing place,” says Ester Venouziou, LocalShops1 founder. "It gives consumers the opportunity to kick off the holiday shopping season by shopping locally!”
