Tampa Bay Business Journal editorial assistant Jo-Lynn Brown's report, Candidates do little to inspire at St. Pete mayoral debate:
"Incumbent Mayor Bill Foster argued his record and former State Rep. Rick Kriseman argued it was lacking. The two candidates for the St. Petersburg mayoral race answered questions from five panelists and an audience of about 150.
Three of the panelists represented businesses: Jack King, co-owner of Three Birds Tavern, Mo Venouziou, vice president of LocalShops1 and Bill Jackson, director of the Sustainable Entrepreneurship & Innovation Alliance. Linda Hersey, a freelance journalist and Mark Lombardi-Nelson, USFSP student body president, also asked the candidates about their support for entrepreneurship, their stance on regulations and the St. Petersburg waterfront."
